Left Justified

I was left justified.

"How?"

It just felt wrong to be right aligned.

So I shifted left.

I’m feeling justified. Left justified. Justifiably on the left, ragged margins and all.

"It must feel good."

It doesn’t, weirdly.

"Why not?"

I’m afraid I’m not justifiably in the right margins.

"Will you change your position?"

Only marginally.

"How’s that?"

I’m gonna shift to more center-aligned.

"How’lya do it?

I’ll still be left but more center-aligned.

"Will you still be left justified?"

I’ll be alright. I just want to be left justified alone, you know? Left, right, center — I don’t care.

Justified to be left, feeling all right to be all wrong.
