"Lisa Stathoplos.......wonderful to see you onstage again in your element.......... you are singularly great on stage.  You bring your own light."

Morgan Callan Rogers, author of "A Red Ruby Heart in a Deep Blue Sea"

What?! A Friend We Have In Jesus?

written and performed by Lisa for Roland Tec's (Director/Producer/Scriptwriter/Pinkplot Productions/New York, NY) Advanced Monologue Writer's Workshop

"At last December's Advanced Monologue Workshop, one of my favorite actors decided to join us and work some of the fundamentals of strong monologue writing. Lisa Stathoplos is an artist of great depth and nuance. And if you're not familiar with her acting, she has published the first of two memoirs and it's pretty damn good. Take a look here.

The monologue Lisa wrote in class is so wonderful and her performance of it so riveting, that I wanted to share it with you here because it really is a fine example of everything that monologue can do in terms of pulling the curtain back to reveal a character we might otherwise have overlooked"

Roland Tec

OPINIONS EXPRESSED ARE NOT

written by Yvette Couser, who was chosen as audience favorite, directed by Suze Allen  and performed by Lisa Stathoplos at the 3rd Annual Hear Me Out Monologues Festival, November 25, 2022

"Suze and Lisa analyzed, debated, gave and took notes, created motives for the character and saw things I had not seen or considered as the author. And Lisa's performance was LUMINOUS. Watching you both take my work seriously filled me with so much love and gratitude and frankly, creative confidence that I hadn't realized I was lacking."
